This awesome group of 1st through 6th graders meets at the same time as our Christian Education groups for men, women and teens! Lead by various members of our congregation and parents, every Wednesday this group learns more about being like Jesus through creative and fun games and activities.
As a creative and educational curriculum for this year, a new “Religion in the Arts Program” is being used. Art is evident in Church everywhere – banners, stained glass, liturgy, music, lyrics, etc. Children and adults have a need and desire to express their love for God through these various art forms. This year, children are exploring a different art medium every 2-3 weeks, as they learn how modern day art relates to Bible-time stories. Art forms include:
- Dance and Movement
- Music: Singing and Instrumental
- Woodworking
- Painting
- Clay/Pottery
- Sewing/Quilting
- Cooking
- Drawing
