Get Connected

One way to meet other people at West Lawn and get connected to a close-knit extended Christian family is through our Community Groups.

Community Groups are small groups of people who come together to build authentic relationships through encouragement, guidance, accountability and prayer. Groups often spend time with one another on a regular basis socially, engage in studies and discussions that grow our faith, serve together on mission projects, and participate in other ministries. Each step of the way, Community Groups help us grow in the faith and support us in Christian fellowship. We are passionate about Community Groups and we want to see everyone get connected in one of these small groups. Regardless of how frequently you attend worship, how long you have been a member, whether or not you are a member, or where you may be on your faith journey, being a part of a Community Group will bless you and this church family!

Getting connected is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3!

  1. Find People: Indentify 3-14 people that are (or might be) interested in being a part of a group.
  2. Meet Together: Contact the people you have identified and ask them to join you for an informal breakfast, lunch, dinner or get-together. Don’t be shy! They will be flattered that you asked.
  3. Commit to One Another: At the end of your first gathering, ask the group to meet again in 2-4 weeks.
