As we approach another New Year, we have much for which we can give thanks. God has blessed us with:
- new people coming to worship with us, grow in their faith with us, and serve with us, all to God’s glory;
- financial resources to meet the needs and obligations that come along with our many ministries; and
- all the gifts and talents we need to do all that God is asking of us.
Dear friends, you and I are the greatest resource available to our church!
- God has blessed each of us with the same 168 hours in every week. It is up to us to determine how we will use that time. Will we give of our time to serve God and share with others God’s Good News?
- Each one who has chosen to follow Jesus is a recipient of God’s spiritual gifts. Will we share our God-given gifts and talents to build up the Body of Christ?
- We each have some material “wealth.” Some have more than others, but we all have something to share. Will we give of our treasure and share from what we have among and through the church?
As we do each year, we are once again asking you to prayerfully, faithfully consider how you will commit to be in ministry through your church in the coming year 2012. We ask you to indicate, as an act of faith, how you see yourself sharing your Time, your Talent, and your Treasure.
